Seguro as a Drop-in Replacement for USB Loggers
Follow Adam and Beena through the simplest Seguro workflow. Adam presses a button, drops the tag in the shipment, and sends it off. When Beena receives the package, one tap of her smartphone pulls up the complete temperature history. She sets the range, adds notes or photos, and saves the record — no USB cable, no special software required.
Seguro as a Drop-in Replacement for USB Loggers
See how Seguro replaces a traditional USB temperature logger — no cables, no software, no hassle.
Forgot to Press the Start Button? No Problem.
Seguro tags are always recording, so a forgotten start button isn't a disaster. When Adam forgets to press it before sealing the shipment, Beena simply taps the tag, switches to Snapshot mode, and adjusts the recording window using tracking info. She adds her documentation and saves as usual. No CAPA, no reship, no deviations — crisis averted.
Forgot to Press the Start Button? No Problem.
Forgot to press the start button? With Seguro, that's not a crisis — it's a two-tap fix.
FAQs
Does Seguro require training or special equipment to use?
No. Seguro requires no special equipment—just a smartphone to tap and view data. This makes it easy to deploy across suppliers, labs, and logistics teams without additional setup.
Can Seguro be used for lab kits, clinical trials, and other regulated cold chain shipments?
Yes. Seguro is designed for lab kits, clinical trials, pallet shipments, and other regulated workflows where sample integrity and compliance require complete, verifiable temperature history.
How is Seguro different from USB data loggers and temperature strips?
Seguro offers app‑free, USB‑free, reusable loggers with instant cloud access, faster and easier than USB loggers, and unlike temperature strips, it provides a complete temperature history. This improves visibility, reduces delays, and supports better cold chain decisions.
Do I need an app to use Seguro cold chain loggers?
You can download the native app here: http://onelink.to/7amept. That being said, the native app isn't necessary to use the Seguro platform, and the web app, which opens automatically when a device is tapped with a smartphone, has almost all the functionality of the native app. The native app is only required if you are going to be changing the internal device configuration, such as changing the sampling rate.
What is "last mile" cold chain visibility and how does Seguro provide it?
The "last mile" is the term used for the final delivery leg in the cold chain, whether that be to an end customer, retail store, or medical office. Providing cold chain visibility to this part of the cold chain was previously very challenging because the recipient usually lacks the training, time, and/or interest to collect the temperature history. The Seguro platform solves this dilemma by displaying and sending temperature history with the tap of any smartphone.
Are there recurring fees for Seguro’s cold chain monitoring platform?
At the moment, no. The cost of the platform is built into the price of the devices. Currently, we believe this is the easiest model for our customers, and for us. At some point in the future, we may change this pricing model, but devices sold now will never require additional fees.
